Superb day at @lilacconf.bsky.social

Really happy with how my presentation, Introducing the TRYangle Approach, went. Very grateful to everyone who came to listen and especially to those who asked questions, spoke to me afterwards and caught up with me throughout the day.

Hats off to @sheffielduni.bsky.social; the acoustics in The Wave building for @lilacconf.bsky.social are fantastic.
It's not something I've tended to notice so much before, but all the speakers so far have sounded so clear and audible. #lilac26

As someone who loves methods chat, I’m really enjoying considering how speculative thinking can be used for information literacy research in @cocolibrarian.bsky.social and @heatherlincoln.bsky.social ‘s workshop! #lilac26

Much as I hate to miss any of the brilliant sessions at #lilac26, I’m taking a wellbeing break for the next session so I’ve got enough spoons left for the rest of the day! Many thanks to the conference organisers for providing a wellbeing room for those of us that need a little time out sometimes 😊

Health librarians as friends, partners- or experts? Can you be all three? #lilac26

PhD wise I’m going to link the stat about people regretting following health info from influencers into my presentation this afternoon. My PhD work looks at how people experience fitness and exercise info on social media through the study of runners. Excited to share my findings #lilac26

The parts of this keynote at #lilac26 about online health misinformation are fascinating both for my PhD and also personally. I take a medication that has entire Facebook groups dedicated to how evil it is. I like to think I’m incredibly literate yet I got sucked in to the misinformation

Aligning with lived experience is a great shout but how do standardised tests of health literacy access that? I don’t see much health IL research exploring said lived experience yet #lilac26

There’s a really great critique of evidence based language for information literacy. Does anyone have it? #lilac26
