I was pleased to speak on Beacon Hill this morning in support of the Transfer Fee for affordable housing.

Been doing this since 2018, and during just this time period the price of a house in Somerville has DOUBLED. Long past time to create a lasting revenue stream for affordable housing. #LOHA

At the MA state house today for the hearing on #LOHA bill that would give cities and towns the OPTION to assess a transfer fee on high-end real estate sales to fund local #affordablehousing #mapoli
