Request for #BookSky - I just finished the #LadyAstronaut series by @maryrobinettekowal.com - what should I read next?

I loved the blend of anthropology, sociology, and good science in the Lady Astronaut series.

I want more plausible SF with competent astronauts scraping the edges of their skills!

More importantly, the writing is, as always, fantastic. Gripping plots, real characters, comfortable dialog. Always hard to put down a #LadyAstronaut book!

Reading @maryrobinettekowal.com's #LadyAstronaut novel The Martian Contingency is claustrophobic the same way good generation starship novels are. What does it really take to survive out there? Do you have to be able to make sheet metal? Copper wire? Capacitors? Ceramics? Glass?

A softer book than the first three, it's not as much about the science of space flight or building on Mars but a character driven novel. Nice addition to the series.
