Ice fishing from inside an ice house (pop-up or regular) is fun when the ice is cleared of snow and the sun is out. It’s like the holes are back lit. Sometimes you can see all the way to the bottom, and watch the fish ignore your bait. I miss it! #photography #icefishing #NorthDakota #LakeAudubon
Once you get your holes drilled in the ice, bait your hook, drop it in the water and watch your bobber. In the picture on the right you can see the different layers to the ice above the water line. The ice was about 18 inches thick, all told. #icefishing #LakeAudubon #NorthDakota #fishing #winter
