Unfortunately, the weather yesterday was rather poor, and I was two months too late for the perfect sunset at the Bentenjima.
In December & January, the sun sets directly inside the Tori.
Nevertheless, we had a lovely day and simply relaxed there for a while […]

Visited Lake Hamana at Kanzanji today and almost got blown away by the wind. Yes, this is an inland lake and the waves come from the somewhat windy weather. Unfortunately, a trip with the Kanzanji Ropeway was not possible today because of the wind :(
