A cast aluminum cake pan in the shape of a lamb. The lamb is sitting with its legs tucked underneath the body. A sturdy pound cake is typically baked in these molds for Easter Sunday. The lamb cake is decorated with piped white icing to mimic the woolly coat. A few jelly beans for the eyes and nose and it's ready to be devoured.
A lamb cake mold with a finished, baked cake inside the back half of the mold. The cake was perfect except for a crack in one ear. The ears are delicate and I used toothpicks to strengthen them but I did not push the toothpick into the batter far enough and it did not bake into the center. My second try was much better and the lamb's ears did not stick to the mold and did not break.

My sister found a cast aluminum lamb cake pan while thrifting in Louisville. I was unable to identify the pan but the shape looks exactly like the #Griswold cast iron lamb mold.
