Photo looking up the River Esk from the footbridge at the end of our road in langholm. The Thomas Telford bridge just further up. The water is fast and the weather is sunny. The hills are visible in the backround, along with the church spire scaffolding which is now in it's third decade. Yes it's been up a long time, and still no sign of it being removed.

I wouldn't recommend walking over a suspension footbridge while suffering from vertigo. However the views are always lovely. #Langholm #Esk

Photo of a rainbow taken from the back garden. To the left are the backs of our terrace, in the background at the end of the road is Thomas Hope Hospital, a lovely Victorian building occupied variously by jackdaws, gulls, oystercatchers and bats. Oh and a few people.

Double rainbowwwww all across the... actually it's just the one, but it was a beauty.

Living less than 100yds from the river Esk has it's benefits. I'm sitting here working at my desk and I can hear oystercatchers and gulls peeping & shrieking overhead. Absolutely love it here. #Langholm #ScottishBorders

Buccleuch Park in Langholm, it's a crisp frosty morning and the sun is hitting the hills in th ebackground. There is a football goal in view. And I wish they would take the netting out when not in use as it's dangerous to wildlife. :(
