Finished portrait of Eisgeist, the self-appointed "Don of Hell." Eisgeist is a man of literal-skeletal figure of icy blue hues, dressed in 1930s-40s-era double-breasted rich-blue pinstriped suit His head is the most obvious deviant feature: a floating skull with hollow sockets occupied by pale red irises, a toothy, monstrous grin, and two devil horns jutting on his forehead above a prominent brow ridge. His hair, as it were, is neatly kept...if looking much too solid to be hair. Eisgeist motions across his chest with a bony hand, a crimson-jeweled ring adorning his pinky finger. In his hand, delicately clasped, is a gleaming conductor's baton of ice. In the background is a harrowing scene of destruction. An icy apocalypse lays waste to a cityscape, barely visible through the winds and snow. Shadowy figures large and small are visible over his shoulders: some apparent victims, and apparent aggressors and conspirators in the disaster Eisgeist instigated and is smiling about now.
The last time his enemies saw "Ice Man" Ed was on a train out of Chicago. His cold grin was the first thing to greet them in death. But, all water under the bridge!
Eisgeist's ire has a much lovelier, living target.
