It continues, "There is some change - a rounding out - in global emissions estimates, but that isn't from physical measurement, rather it's a collation of the lies countries tell. What's more, it doesn't agree with simple analysis of the rate of increase in atmospheric concentration (red line)" The red line on the 'Annual CO2 emissions vs atmospheric concentration change', shows it runnng from about 16 gigatonnes of CO2 up to about 45 gigatonnes this year. The data point for 2024 is below at about 41 gigatonnes of CO2.

Most of them would barely know what climate comms people are communicating, or care. I imagine some of them, instead, pay big money to make sure the extinction event is framed in those terms
