This is only relevant for the two non-Hyur Laylas but I like to think that the wol in their timeline is Meteor. They’re just living normal lives.
I wouldn’t mind anyone else’s wol though.

Seeing what the rest of the Scions are playing, I either see her play the piano or skip physical instruments all together and just be a vocalist.
In the case of the latter, Ciel takes up the piano 😌

I never had any specific character I had in mind when I wrote out her lore, personality and such but having played through FF9, I think there is a little bit of Garnet in her.

The problem is that pre-character development Layla is kind of the opposite of what she became when she is the wol (even though her personality hasn’t changed much)
So she wouldn’t be that impressed by Ardbert. Younger Layla would’ve wanted some rich nobleman/royalty 😅
