We love this innovated Low-spill lighting, but what still missing from Municipalities and local governments, is the realization that all the planet, it’s species, including humans, needs low-spill light at night, not just #Astronomers #LetNightBeDark ...

If you have to have outside light at night, make it #lowKelvin in #Amber #Red #Yellow so you don’t attract insects. We need insects at night to pollinate, feed other animals like bats, and not get “hypnotized” in our artificial lights. #LetNightBeDark

We need to act now. We need to stop businesses/ homeowners/municipalities/Parks from using pesticides and 4000K or higher blue-light at night/we need to act quickly. #InsectDecline #LetNightBeDark

Please use #LowKelvinAtNight Here is 4000K next to what looks like 7000K!!! Both are too high of Kelvin for nighttime use. Look at the blinding glare (areas that look black in contrast) #LetNightBeDark

Doesn’t this #AmberLight look lovely on this brick #Tutor? More importantly, it illuminates just enough to see well and feel safe, and it is the environmental choice for outdoor light after sunset. #LetNightBeDark

We love&support #Density in #Seattle but these #Rowhouse missed an opportunity to protect #Humanhealth and the surrounding #environment -every home doesn’t need 4000K high lumen outdoor lights up and down for 2 stories plus rooftop patio. #OverLighting #LetNightBeDark

“Moths appear to complement the work of bees and can carry pollen over greater distances as they don’t have the same ties to a particular part of the landscape.” #Protect #Pollinators #LetNightBeDark ...

More from the 2017 research: “What’s interesting, however, is that the fate of #AR night pollinators seems to be intertwined with that of the day #pollinators, Knop adds. And in some instances, artificial light may be unravelling that tapestry.” #LetNightBeDark

Get out and enjoy this great visibility we’re having tonight in #Seattle and let’s all keep working so that Life on earth will continue to have night. #LetNightBeDark

Beautiful #ecological #darkskyfriendly @ShorecrestHS Notice the exterior building lights are mounted low, full shield and are about 2200 Kelvin. Parking lot lights are full-cut off too. #LetNightBeDark #stopJunkLight

It is difficult to live in a city that has #lightingcode that isn’t enforced. An example reported over a year ago. The homes across the street have to deal with these lights shining in their windows all night. #letNightBeDark #lightAtNightHarms

Tonight we just saw a juvenile robin in the planting strip grass near the street under a 4000K high lumen #seattle @SEACityLight streetlight. #birdsneeddark #darkness4all #letNightBeDark

What is the biggest barrier to changing your personal outdoor light bulbs to low K temperature 2200 (amber)? #letnightbedark #lightpollution #amberlightatnight
