Blijkt dat de zwarte vruchten eetbaar en zoet zijn, met aroma's van chocolade, rozijnen en caramel. Had ik dat maar geweten....Deze stond gewoon langs een bosrand.

Deze struik staat hier op de camping.
De Nederlandse benaming is fazanten bes.
De vrucht is paars van kleur en smaakt naar caramel.
Oorsprong China en de Himalaya.
Die ga ik eens opsporen en kopen.
