The Eco group were full of energy and enthusiasm yesterday. We are learning about sustainable and locally sourced food and hope to produce some tasty recipes soon. We are also entering a Young Reporters for the Environment competition on the theme of food and the environment. #LfSEdinburgh
It was the perfect afternoon for a bonfire; warm (for a Scottish November) and no rain. Spruce class had a lovely time snapping kindling, making sparks and singing fireside songs. #LfSEdinburgh
Aspen class have been focusing on biodiversity in the woods this term. They’ve been out investigating the different creatures that live there and the ways that they depend on one another. Last week they built a giant spider web to catch paper flies. #LfSEdinburgh

It was sharktastic in assembly last Friday. Willow Class celebrated World Ocean Day with a fabulous and fun eco themed presentation highlighting the damaging effects of plastic on our oceans. #LfSEdinburgh
