Oh my gosh yessss there's finally a LibAdwaita music player that supports Jellyfin. :ablobcateyesflip: Nocturne just added Jellyfin support and, based on playing around with it for a bit, it works shockingly well despite being labelled experimental.
It's so nice I am SO EXCITED :soft_reach: […]

Screenshot of Dippi in a dark style on the desktop, where the two screens are side-by-side. There is a subtle purple tint to the app. The left half of the app has inputs for screen size, resolution, and type while the right size reads: “Analyze a Display. For LoDPI, a DPI range of 90–150 is ideal for desktops while 124–156 is ideal for laptops. For HiDPI, 180–300 is ideal for desktops while 248–312 is ideal for laptops.”
Screenshot of Dippi on the desktop in a light style. It has a subtle purple tint. The left side is filled out for a 13.3" 1920×1080 laptop display, and the right side reads: Potentially Problematic
It looks good on desktop, too! It’s the same size as before, but uses the space better and can adapt to any window size (tiling!).
I continue to push at the accent color tinting in my apps. I think it’s nice. Here, my computer has a purple accent.

A phone running Dippi, which is a display DPI/aspect ratio calculator. The screen shows the inputs for a 13.3" diagonal laptop display with a resolution of 1920×1080.
A phone showing the result for the display in the other image. It reads: “Potentially Problematic. Relatively high resolution, but not quite HiDPI. Text and UI may be too small by default, but forcing HiDPI would make them appear too large. The experience may be slightly improved by increasing the text size.” Below, it has the specs (16:9, 165 DPI, 1920×1080) and a prominent button to “share results.”
I finally did a little UI rewrite for Dippi 👀

Moved Senbara from the old #GTK shortcuts dialog to the new one in like 60s with a single prompt; despite the training data being from before that was even a #libadwaita component, and it even managed to use the new automatic resource loader properly.
Screen to select folders to copy over.
Screen to setup ssh connection
Screen to select flatpak apps to reinstall
Screen to choose what settings to migrate
I played with GUI for #Linux Desktop Migration Tool today. It is still rough around the edges, but it looks promising. Some operations such as selecting applications to reinstall can be done much more easily in GUI than in CLI.

#Phosh's file selector (`pfs`) picked up existing 👍-nails of files since some time but didn't create missing ones. @arunmanij fixed that by creating a thumbnailing service. The file chooser calls into this service to request the creation of the missing thumbnails.
Having things in an extra […]
…and thanks to @rudraps we now also have a preferences plugin for #Phosh's mobile settings to configure the ☕ timer intervals:

Wow! 6 days ago I created an issue over at #Gnome, about fixing a tiny annoyance I had, where I couldn't choose to open certain links inside #libadwaita apps in any way except for in the default browser.

why in libadwaita, in the light theme, the sidebar uses colors that clearly give it depth, but in the dark theme it uses colors that give it elevation
