The “Zombie Jesus” trope resurfaces every Easter, but let’s be honest. But it’s lazy, theologically cheeky, and mythologically inaccurate. Zombies are mindless husks. Jesus came back calm, coherent, handing out instructions. Less undead, more undeterred.
