I visited the website of a Vet that was recommended to me and made an appointment for a days hence (it was after hours.) They called me the next morning and told me to come in that day.

The Vet: last week, Max kept flapping his ears and pawing at his right ear. Uh oh. And sigh.

We’d planned on taking him to a vet for a check up at some point, now our timeline was moved up.

We’re coming up on 3 weeks living with Max. We now have the following vendors we’ve signed up for Max’s care:

There definitely have been some trips on the Struggle Bus with Max, and I will talk about those later.

Tomorrow my hubby, stepson, Max, & I have our first meeting with a trainer. We’re all eager to learn more about how we can help Max settle in and help him live his best life ❤️ #LifewithMax

Life with Max Update: Max playing with a Kong!

My stepson wasn’t sure he would be interested. But Max went HARD on that Kong for 30 minutes, drank some water, and then promptly lay down for a rest.

Observations:

I do believe Max needs more exercise and stimulation.

He was living in the PNW and his heavy coat needs to be trimmed for warmer weather.

He does lay quietly and looks for cool spots in the house.

And, he seems to like Lee and me. Those tail wags are EVERYTHING!
