Rewatched the original #TRON with #LittleHuman. It seems as dated now as The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine did at the time—and probably as Metropolis did at the time of The Beatles. A creation of another era, and yet remarkable in its own way.

Had a fun time with #LittleHuman at #BrayAirDisplay yesterday. The most striking contributor was the huge glowing orb that hovered over the beach all day giving me radiation burns. 🥵 ☢️ #Ireland

#LittleHuman enjoyed it, but didn’t have much prior attachment to the character, and the movie doesn’t do much to motivate that. So it was a mixed bag, despite some excellent performances and sequences. I guess I’m just not that into superhero franchises. (Sorry)

Started reading the Moomin books from the start with #LittleHuman. Two points of note: 1. The #moomins are refugees from an environmental disaster, which is why they make their own home a sanctuary for all kinds of creatures (even mice). 2. Male and female hemulens alike wear dresses. Deal with it.

#LittleHuman had a severe allergic reaction last week after eating some cake specially ordered from a bakery for my wife’s birthday (of all days!). The bakery made a serious error and we had to give EpiPen and take him to hospital, with several secondary reactions in the ambulance. Very scary.

Took #LittleHuman to see #ThePhantomMenace today. I have mixed feelings about this being his first #StarWars experience, but the opportunity to see it in the cinema seemed too good to miss. Of course he loved it and now thinks the Force is real, but doesn’t know who Anakin Skywalker really is. 😏

When we first moved in, Wife and #LittleHuman made a nice cake to celebrate. We left it on a shelf, went out for a walk and when we returned it had a huge hole in the middle. That was our first encounter with the magpie.
