Hoping that a much more sedentary day today will have helped to Reset my body ready for the Summer Term at school, which starts tomorrow ๐ค
I'm still learning about #Pacing to avoid #PEM symptoms ๐
#LongCovid #LongCovidTeacher
Visible Health HRV graph from daily morning check-ins
Visible looking stable
EliteHRV 8 out of 10 Readiness
KubiosHRV VERY high readiness 92%
Wednesday morning and my HRV is still creeping upwards, day by day ๐
Stable
In Balance
And Ready for the day ahead.
#Pacing and HeartRate monitoring to avoid overexertion.

40 out of my daily 30 pacepoints used
53 of my 60 minutes of Moderate activity
Had to stay late at work, marking mock exams.
It's 6pm and I'm ten #Visible_health
PacePoints ahead of my (heartrate-based) daily energy budget...
& I'm at my #KiActiv (movement-based) daily limit too.
Feet feel 'heavy' - a sign of #PEM starting.
#LongCovid #LongCovidTeacher
Decline from exertional heartrates above 110bpm down through 'activity' heartrates until I got home. Then mostly Rest since then.
Having PPA time yesterday afternoon allowed me to start reducing my HeartRate by 3pm ๐
This @visible_health HR graph clearly shows its general decline throughout the rest of the working day (until 5:45pm).
A long and busy 9-hour workday ๐
#LongCovid #LongCovidTeacher #Pacing
Resting heartrate now as I'm reclining
15 minutes of deliberate REST to bring my body back in balance before teaching my next lesson and then undertaking my Lunchtime Duty ๐
#LongCovidTeacher #PartTime #LongCovid #Teaching
Every alternate Friday I get to leave work early.
And as I had a pretty sedentary morning, despite teaching 3 lessons, I just walked the length of Goodrington Sea Wall #Paignton
#Torquay in the distance across #Torbay
Glorious sunshine ๐ Welcome to the weekend ๐

A rare post for me on all of the Facebook groups that I'm in, for Long Covid, Pulmonary Embolism Recovery and the like...

Morning Stability 4 out of 5 - Looking Stable
With another #UKHeatwave starting, and with our destination, mainland Europe, also predicted to be hot, very careful #Pacing will determine whether I start my Summer Break #PEM-free and Stable.

Kubios app says 7% Readiness - very low
Kubios app said 48% Readiness this morning - Low
A challenging couple of days, but still no #PEM symptoms for over a month ๐
These were my #KubiosHRV 'Readiness' scores yesterday morning and first thing today ๐ฎ๐
Heading in the right direction, I suppose!
I'll sleep well tonight ๐
#LongCovid #LongCovidTeacher
Monday lunch time.
Three @visible_health PacePoints ahead of my daily PaceSetter and still have 4 hours left at work.
Had my feet up for the past 30 minutes, but heartrate stubbornly won't drop down...
#LongCovid #LongCovidTeacher
#Pacing to avoid debilitating #PEM
Full teaching day and I even used the stairs a few times (but the elevators/lifts more!)
With my heartrate alert reset to 127 b.p.m. it didn't go off at all!
Am I being naive, or am I getting better?
#LongCovid #PEM #LongCovidTeacher
Visible Health Stable
Kubios HRV 56% Readiness
Full-on Monday. Got to lunch time, but heartrate monitor is alerting me repeatedly at 120+ b.p.m.
Not the best baseline first thing this morning ๐
Not much I can do in the context of a busy teaching job.

Visible Health Morning Stability output from their app. Noting a much lower Heartrate Variability than my normal readings.
So, I have just updated my @visible_health data for the morning, also including some Heartrate Monitoring via my index finger...
Reckon I've been infected with something.
The last time this happened was late September.
Will test for Covid now...

Graph showing well-spaced energy expenditure across the whole day
Today was OK!
Home, 14 hrs since I left for work.
My #KiActiv smartwatch confirms that my pacing was good, with some useful rest-breaks. 52 minutes of 'moderate' activity, yet kept within my 4000-calorie daily energy expenditure.
Day off tomorrow: easier pacing ๐
#LongCovid #PEM #LongCovidTeacher
Graph: The Visible Health App. shows that my hearyrate varability has been steadily increasing for a whole week.
...and my HRV (Heartrate variability) is rising steadily; a sign of recovery and improvement ๐
#LongCovid #LongCovidTeacher #PEM
Careful pacing needed today.

12 hours into the working day and walking up stairs just now with my tuba has exhausted my legs; I usually use the lift/elevator.
Feet-up in the staff room for 40 minutes, then a final Funk Band performance before heading home ๐

And the Visible Health app. shows that my body is STABLE ๐
Today is my usual Tuesday off work. I'll be resting a lot, but also taking part in my sixth Nuffield Health online Group Rehab. Session.
Next week it's the long-awaited Half-Term break ๐ and our first in-person session ๐
