I was a bit surprised when an adoptee on #LongLostFamily said “I went onto Ancestry”, cos product placement. But then I realised who they’re sponsored by.

BUT THEN… I remembered product placement within programmes is still not allowed.

Watching #LongLostFamily. When I was 21 I had a boyfriend who’d been brought up by (and still lived with) his grandparents. But his parents later married and went on to have four more children. Whom he knew, and was friendly with. I never really asked how he felt about it all.
