As a change from cross stitch I thought it would be a good idea to try a long stitch kit. Made a start tonight. Hand on heart I can already say this was not one of my better ideas. Now dreading to think how badly this will turn out. And feeling stressed not chilled

A scene of 3 rainbow lorikeets in eucalyptus trees. The sky is blue, the leaves green and the parrots are a multitude of colours including blue heads and lower bodies, bright green wings and red, orange and yellow chests. They look like little rainbows themselves, hence the species name.
After 20 years it's finally done. It was a gift from my grandma. It has taken ages and occupied my time and required ordering some replacement colours too but it was all worth it to see how dang good it looks!
