I & several other researchers have identified what we have reasonable grounds to believe are pictorial depictions of #SolarEclipses, &or #SolarEclipseSymbolism, carved into the #MegalithArt of #Dowth, #Knowth & #Loughcrew.

We arrived at our #SolarEclipse hypotheses independently of each other.

I drew a line from #Newgrange to Lough Muskry & carried an equal length line across the country north westward until I hit something significant, which was the Reek, Croak Patrick; I carried the same length across east to Newgrange & it went through #Rathcroghan & #Loughcrew

It's lashing down in Ireland for the #Equinox dawn but here's my video from two years back when I went to #Loughcrew where the dawn sun shines into a 5300 year old monument to light a carved backstage laden with astronomical symbols https://youtu.be/cOac-xESqGM

At least one cairn at #Loughcrew was covered in white quartz in living memory but was removed over the last 100 yrs, I've heard speculation for white quartz chippings for modern graves. I did spot a small piece on the ground. A lot of damage done in the last 150 years /10
