'Windmill Hill', just south of Newton Common, Earlestown. It is reputedly a burial mound, though it may well have been used for a windmill later. It's atmospheric spot, overlooking the Sankey Brook, which is a historic local boundary. #LoveNLW #StHelens Borough #Landscape #Lancashire #TumulusTuesday
