A 1970s living room. To background, a playpen. To midground, a stylish dark woman lounges on a squishy and non-fire-retardant chair, one shoe kicked off. That'll be my mum. To foreground, a small bald worried-looking child sits in a wicker box designed for keeping toys tidy. That child is, just about perceptibly, me.
Been looking out old photos of Dad, as one does at this time. Confronted incidentally by this one, me sitting almost exactly where I was today, but 48-odd years ago. Evidently #LoveYourBoxes is not a new thing.

We've managed to get to day 25 of #Archive30 without me getting all #LoveYourBoxes on you. But what makes me #happy in the archives? I can't lie, like most archivists a beautifully catalogued & packaged collection always gives me a little tingle. Just look at those lovely boxes!
