The image shows a pattern for two different clothing designs, from a 1970s Lutterloh pattern book. The pattern on the left is a floor length cape. The pattern on the right is a hooded jacket with flared sleeves.. Both designs are drawn in black and white and the model on the left has a distinct 1960s-1970s updo hairstyle. The illustration is placed on a colorful, hexagon patchwork textile in teal, orange fuschia and lime colored printed fabrics.
The image shows a tortoiseshell cat sitting on a colorful, hexagonal-patterned quilt. The cat is predominantly black with patches of orange and brown, particularly around its face. Its tongue is sticking out, as if mid-lick. The cat's eyes are different colors, with one appearing yellow and the other obscured or a different shade because she's a pirate cat. The quilt beneath the cat features a variety of colorful hexagonal shapes, in teal, orange, fuschia and lime printed fabric, creating a patchwork effect.
Took a break from my fmq endeavors today. Instead I plotted out a Lutterloh jacket in Illustrator. The hexies I started during the pandemic and now refer to as my death quilt because I'm not sure I'll finish it before I die. Sorry about the cat hair.
