Lift off of #MAPHEUS 15! 🚀 Yesterday, DLR’s research rocket carried 21 scientific experiments 309 km above the Swedish Lapland, providing them with record-breaking 7 minutes of #microgravity. 🧪 It was also the 600th launch from the Esrange site. 🇸🇪❄️

The #MAPHEUS 11 payload comprises three experiments. MARS explores additive manufacturing in #microgravity – i.e. 3D printing 🖨️ . In this case, the experiment produces amorphous metals that are characterised by their high strength and corrosion resistance.
