While on a night drone patrol, MEP’s newly created 'Delta" ranger team witnessed a herd cross a swollen Mara River with a calf. The elephants were briefly swept downstream but all made it safely to the riverbank. A relief, after that brief tense moment. #MaraElephants #MEPRangers

On patrol with @kwskenya, MEP rangers intercepted a lorry transporting 2,000+ illegal cedar posts suspected to be from Loita Forest. The vehicle was impounded and posts seized. With the support from LGTVP, MEP is establishing a long-term community-based Loita forest protection. #MEPRangers
