Outstanding work by @mesl_research launching their #MESL 2025 report this morning. A must read for anyone interested in what we must do to eradicate poverty.. Government take note... everyone has a right to live in dignity..
Groups with highest rate below #MESL include children (15%), lone parents (38%), and working-age single adults (26%).
Majority of people below #MESL (72%) are also at-risk of poverty, a third (35%) experience deprivation, a quarter (23%) live in consistent poverty.
