Kicked off #MICF2025 last night with Rama Nicholas and Laura Davis and can highly recommend both.
Rama's—sorry, Monty's—show is a set of excellent character sketches (I challenge you not to love Lenny), and Laura's is like sitting down for a chat with a friend if they did all the chatting.
Kiwi comic Hayley Sproull being an excellent dag, by the looks. Pink hair, Renaissance fair wenchish costume and pink rose.

Gillian Cosgriff is relatable, likeable, a very talented composer — yes, she weaves in original songs — and a hilarious storyteller. Her take on the world may not be TED Talk-deep like Sloss or Gadsby, but she offers something just as valuable: lightness and hope in a worry-filled world. #micf2025

Rama Nicholas, Rosie Jones, Laura Davis, Geraldine Quinn, Zoe Coombs Marr, Kirsty Webeck, Alice Tovey, He Huang, Desiree Burch, Grace Zhang, and Scout Boxall are all performers I've seen and can recommend who're at #MICF2025, and Queerly Beloved is always worth a go IMHO.
