Are there any particular conditions that see this happening rather than just a sheet of ice forming? I'm pretty sure other times I've just been able to lift out a sheet of ice. I'm guessing nucleation vs crystal growth rates but not sure. TIA #MInCup2020 @mcnamadd

I'm not saying that I'm spending too much time on #MinCup2020 but I dreamt last night that I was travelling to Australia to see #Flourite being crowned winner. I was even missing school (A-level year) to do it 🤔(exam anxiety dream as a 'bonus'-I did them decades ago!)
