Though, and how much experience you have with html. I've built loads of sites in WordPress, but its slow and finniky. For my own site I chose another cms called #modx that came free with my host. It's super fast and let's me design it how I want, but knowledge of html/css is a must.
I built a standalone "Simple Analytics" dashboard widget for MODX to do basic hit and view tracking for some clients.

@feeds.hilarybaumann.com not sure if there's much content yet, but I wonder if you'd be game to add #MODX (I.e., MODX Revolution CMS) to the CMS Feed (although, it might be necessary to omit any Yamaha References since they have a keyboard range that uses that name).
There's always #MODX Revolution. It's well suited to personal websites and perhaps a little less clunky than Drupal.
