Searching your shelves, as you do, for the Collected Poems of Norman #MacCaig, I'm at least confident that
a) I have the hardback
b) the cover image, extending round the spine, is a landscape painting, browns and greens and blue-grey sky.

I find the book, a paperback, with a spine of plain yellow.
