Mac users! I can’t find help with this small but annoying problem.

When I use speech to text on my mac, in any app, every time I say grief it misspells it Grieef, because I once got an email by someone with that name. How can I make it stop doing that?

Mac help please. When I open this folder (pic 1) it displays as empty. When I search for an item that should be in it, it displays the item (pic 2). All five of those items can still be opened.

What the hell is going on?

We gave an iMac a fresh start: OS update, internet tune-up, and a revived email account on an iPad. Things are snappier already.
