So here are the Mac #shenanigans I am getting into:
1) Swap out 128gig ssd to 480gig in 2011 #MacBookPro
2) Restore backup of #MacOSXsnowleopard
3) Set up partition to dual boot, hopefully, #macOSMonterey

Last night I had the 2011 #macbook pro running #MacOSXsnowleopard side by side next to the 2013 macbook pro running #Monterey. It was crazy seeing how much has changed but also how much stayed the same.

My unibody MacBook from 2008 is on display here. There is a cd next to it, displayed proudly. The CD is titled “The Day I Turned to Glass” by Honeycut. iTunes is open, with the CD import screen going. This is a noteworthy album for such a computer; the song “Exodus Honey” was used as the song in the Welcome video for Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard, and this MacBook is running 10.6 Snow Leopard. It’s very late-2000s in here!
