One thing I love about this hobby is that I’m always learning ✍🏻

In December, my jewel orchid got root rot. I panicked (as one does), took a cutting, rooted it in water and after a month potted it back up. I lost the rest if the plant, but I’m grateful for a second chance 💚

Judging by the new leaf and a long root, I think it's safe to say that my jewel orchid cutting is officially ready new soil 🎉

An update on my jewel orchid 🌿
A month ago it suddenly stalled, with droopy leaves and no new growth. Turns out the stem had gone soft and wrinkly. I cut off the healthiest part I could and moved it straight to water.
Really hoping it pulls through 🤞🏻

Came for the Monstera Albo, stayed for this stunning #macodespetola 💚

This picture doesn't do it justice - it’s even more beautiful in person. The lightning bolt-like lines shimmer like golden glitter in the sunlight. Despite a damaged leaf, new growth gives me hope I won't kill it 🤞🏼

久しぶりにパルダリウムを作りました。
今回はシンプルに苔とマコデスペトラ（ジュエルオーキッド）だけです。
この朽ちた根っこは夏前に枯れたブーゲンビリアのやつ。
話それるけど、近所（東京都下の山沿い）で外に出しっぱなしなのにキレイにブーゲンビリアを咲かせてるお家があるんだけどどうやってるんだろう？
