I was so chuffed to be invited to speak at @cripmadsymposium.bsky.social's event #MadCrip2025 today. I talked about all the ways that Latin American critical disability studies have informed my research with families of disabled children in Colombia.

What a great way to close our symposium. Leaving us with some great questions about where Crip Theory can go from here.

Half day at the lovely #MadCrip2025 this morning then off to Bristol for tomorrow's Doing Research Differently conf.

Dinner at a Lounge which I enjoy for their reliably flexible veggie/vegan/gf menu, and that you can order stuff to hack a halloumi curry
