#DeExtinction is (almost) always analogized to #JurassicPark, but the more apt analogy is the @margaretatwood.bsky.social #Maddaddam trilogy; in which #syntheticbiology is used for #Aesthetics and profit not conservation 🧪 🐋🍃

Looking at what is going on in the States right now it makes me think of the description of Pleeblands in Margret Atwood’s #Maddaddam Trilogy, and how everything got worse and worse and the CorpSe Corps god madder and madder. Those books was supposed to be a warning, not a manual.
