The Diné (Navajo) Nation is in NE Arizona and maize is one of their sacred plants—a primary food staple and a symbol of sustenance; Holy People made the first humans from corn. Maize pollen is widely used in ceremonies, for blessings, & offered during prayer. #KernelsOfCulture #MaizeAroundTheWorld
