Well, we know Mike Johnson likes to lie, but that's a doozy.

NO ONE in the US Congress has voted "to shutdown the gov't".

The Gov't is shutdown because the #MajorityRepublicans in the House & Senate can't formulate a CR budget bill, which is acceptable to enough members to pass it.
