Earlier tonight @hiimwhitney.bsky.social were doing an exercise, “autobio” (like for writers), of one word self descriptions. My 4th or 5th was (super) empathetic—with a caveat pre-disclaimer of “I’m absolutely not patting myself on the back.” Important. #MakeAmericaEmpatheticAgain

The only thing giving me hope is knowing (hoping, pleading to someone) that the pendulum will swing 2x in the opposite direction once this hellscape is over and the darkness that is our everyday is brought to the light. #MakeAmericaEmpatheticAgain
