Two photos are contrasted.
The top photo shows a close-up of an orange excavator on a barge demolishing a concrete walkway along the Khlong Saen Saep canal in Bangkok. The excavator is positioned on the right side of the frame, with its arm extended towards the left, where it is in the process of breaking apart the walkway. Debris from the demolition is scattered around the base of the wall and in the water. The operator inside the excavator is wearing a blue shirt. To the left, a worker in a blue shirt and hat stands near the edge of the canal. The canal itself is lined with trees and buildings in the background, suggesting an urban environment.
The bottom photo shows the same location several weeks later, but from a further and higher vantage point. The construction equipment is gone an a partial new concrete walkway has been poured in the old walkway location. The new walkway appears less level and not as robust as the original.
Is it me, or does the old walkway (top, a few weeks ago) look more robust & level than the new walkway (bottom, last week) which actually looks wavy on the edge?
