The Edmonton launch of CBC's #MakeTheSeasonKind campaign, featuring Chef Daniel Costa & a CBC food truck at the Butterdome, shows how the food truck community supports local food banks. Keep up the good work! #Edmonton #FoodTrucks www.cbc.ca/player/pl...

Downtown Kitchener this morning as the sun rises over the horizon, casting a golden light. King street has been blocked off for the Christkindl Market, and the little huts have been set up for venors. On the left of the street is the CBC Make The Season Kind van. Across from it are the Twin City Harmonizers singing. No, I didn't video it as I missed the start.
It's CBC's Make the Season Kind Campaign and it's Kitchener's annual Christkindl Market!
I was half a block from the studio, after finishing my column, and heard the Twin City Harmonizers singing O Holy Night (my fave hymn to sing and hear). Ran back to snap this shot.

This year I saved up to give a weeks wages to give to Canada’s #FoodBank on #GivingTuesday through the #CBC #MakeTheSeasonKind campaign.
In #PEI, food bank use increased 100% over 2024, and 35% of users are working families needing help to meet their needs.
Give whatever you can #Canada. 🇨🇦❄️☃️🎄

We’ve also donated to #OurPlaceSociety in Vancouver & our local #CarbonCure colleagues served a record 420 meals!
The fundraising campaign continues through the weekend. #cbcmanitoba #maketheseasonkind @harvestmanitoba www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
While I’m sad I can’t make it to Studio 700 this morning, I’m watching, and I made my donation. Added an extra $.11 to get the “rounding-up” going! CBC Vancouver Food Banks BC #MakeTheSeasonKind

A rectangular image divided into two sections. The left block is blue with a white heart, next to the words “make the season kind,” and smaller letters that say “Join us and help support local food banks.” The right block has red and aqua coloured symbols that appear to be parts of a broken-apart CBC logo, with a red circle in the centre that says “CBC.”
One week from today (Friday) until CBC stations across Canada help to #MakeTheSeasonKind by offering special programming and accepting donations to local food banks. That’s happening on Dec. 6th. You can donate online now to the CBC NL campaign at: www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/123284
