I didn’t actually write any new words today. Instead I spent time creating a preliminary table of contents & doing some rough summary outline stuffs as I try to figure out what happens next in the middle. That counts still, right? #WritingCommunity

After an unwanted hiatus, we are back with 2.5k today! We’ve passed page 100! My 60k is looking dismal after a 10 day stretch of nothing, but I’m still aiming high. I’ll be happy to hit between 50-55k, but I’d love at least 55k. #WritingCommunity

Should I have written today? Yes. Did I? No. Do I need 10k by the end of the week again? Also yes.

I’m exhausted from the weekend. Even though I didn’t manage any new words, I did do some file back up work & threw in for another giveaway. It counts, right?

I’ve been out of the town for the weekend so I ended up not doing any writing, which I expected to happen. I did finish reading a book though. Time to jump back on the horse tomorrow!

Though I didn’t hit my 10k yesterday, I was determined to hit it between both days. And we did! 3.7k today! A total of 10.4k over two days! We have passed the 40k mark & we are ALMOST at the 50% mark. I’m getting closer! #WritingCommunity

We aimed high today. Super high. 10k high. While a kitchen intruder snake screwed up my morning, we got real close to that goal! We added 6.7k to my WiP! My best yet! Another day like this tomorrow & I will have a solid chance at my goal. #WritingCommunity

I forgot to update yesterday, but listen, I did a lot of adulting things for a Monday. It’s a busy week. I got sidetracked & distracted & exhausted. The words didn’t end up happening.

I struggled to focus at home today, so I spur of the moment took myself to a local coffee shop for a 2 hour writing session. Accomplished 2.1k today, & we have hit the 30k mark! Woohoo! #WritingCommunity

Day 9 was a migraine day. No update there. But today we managed another 1.2k in the morning before I had somewhere to be. Hoping tomorrow I keep the momentum going! #WritingCommunity
