Pictured is a yellow crowned night heron, approx 1 1/2 feet tall you see it's long legs that are a bright orange yellow. Slate gray in color from neck to lower wings containing longer feathers. Black head, except for white cheeks that appear from just in back of it's red eyes towards the back of head. A yellowish white crown feather runs from top of head to a few inches that trail behind. Seen against a background of mangoves.
