because I found just hiding in the background, then looting bags after watching other runners kill eachother a funny way to relax and have fun.
A light brown background, there are three deep black ink sketches on it. All portraits of the Recon Shell/character from the game Marathon. The First one takes the space on the top right, a three-quarters angle looking to the left and slightly to the viewer. The next one is in the middle to the left of the page: facing forward, hands posed in front and to the side of the face in the manner of holding a gun up. The final one is in the bottom right corner. Heavily shaded wth the ink brush in an attempt to imitate the luster. Three-quarter view is from the back of the head, the character is holding a gun forward, but the portrait cuts off before the full weapon and arms are visible.
Decided to study the Recon shell from #Marathongame to try and get working on some #fanart.
Unfortunately, the shapes of the shells are not coming naturally to me. But I'm pretty happy with these sketches.
I will need to do more before I can actually work on a full piece.
