Building template and "March Hotel"-title are made by callmenaka, while rest of the art is by me. March Hotel was an art event held on Discord, where people joined to draw art. You paid "rent" to stay by posting art every day after timer resets. You would get "bankrupted" or even "evicted" if you didn't have enough coins. There was even a feature to go fishing, which randomly gave coins (or not). One of the optional quests was to draw March Hotel-building in any location we wanted, so I decided to draw a Truman Show-movie's ending reference, by having my fish-character standing at the top of he stairs. Behind them is a artificial sky, and door open to leave the place to bigger world. Down the stairs leads to the sea, hotel-building, and a boat with broken sail-cloth. Fish-character is standing upright, one arm spread open, and other holds a heart against their chest. They are teary-eyed, but happy. Text in the sky says "Thank you March Hotel", and text in the stair-platform says "No more fishing, no more rent. Only art and gratitude remains."
Thank you March Hotel. This event has meant so much to me. 💝

I tapered off a bit towards the end, but in my defense this wasn't even the only project I had on the go this month.
I had fun! It was hard, but it definitely pushed me to make art that I wouldn't have made otherwise.

The March Hotel appears in the city that Charon and Konah live in. There's comic book elements. Panel: It's March 2nd, 2026. Konah: "Well, we know why Than hasn't responded." Charon: You've got to be kidding me.. Patron: It wasn't me this time.
Just submitted my last #MarchHotel piece for a quest. Rushed through it because I forgot that March Hotel runs on CET, so I'll be at work when it ends. :')
Feels surreal that it's ending in less than a day. Might ramble and make a long thread about my March Hotel experience sometime this week.

The month is coming to a close~ Thank you #MarchHotel for hosting such a great event! 52 arts completed 6 of which where comms, lots of fun between throwing coins at fellow arts in rapid fire, fishing in the toilets, and gambling! :D Learned alot, got over some stuff, look forward to it next year
