On #ThisDayInHistory in 1864, #WilliamTecumsehSherman began his #MarchToTheSea. He burnt plantation houses & every bit of #Confederate infrastructure he could find. Had #Sherman and the Union distributed the land to freed #slaves, we might have built a better world for ourselves.

There needs to be a reckoning, and it needs to involve finishing the good work that General Sherman started.
