Among the 5 ♀️ who 🏃🏾 for public office, #AgnesMacphail of the Progressive Party was elected in 1921 becoming the first ♀️ MP in 🇨🇦 history. She would remain in the 🏠 of Commons until 1940. From 1921 to 1935, she was the only ♀️ in the 🏠 of Commons, until #MarthaBlack was elected in 1935.
