The latest wastewater sample that was sequenced was from 17 November 2025. Each variant is color coded and we can see how the variant soup make-up has changed over the weeks. Some variants come and go. But JN.1 keeps making a comeback.

Other variants may come and go, but JN.1 has some staying power in Nuremberg. (JN.1 is the variant that I caught at the end of 2023 and that the vaccine at the end of 2024 was targeted at.)

Aktuelle Viruslast von Influenzaviren in Nürnberg. Die letzte Messung fand am 8.12.2025 statt. Die Kurve für Influenza B ist total flach und ganz unten. Die Kurve für Influenza A dagegen hat Ende Oktober eine kleine Welle die am 10. November wieder bei 0 war und jetzt aber seitdem von sehr niedrig zu sehr hoch hochgeschnellt ist.
