'What to do if a healthcare practitioner is promoting hate or discrimination:
Some healthcare practitioners, like massage therapists, physiotherapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists, are regulated and some are unregulated.
But that doesn't matter.
Regulated healthcare professionals are governed by a regulatory body called a
"college", like The College of
Physicians and Surgeons.
UNregulated healthcare professionals are represented by a professional association and, in the absence of a college, these associations will take on some of the duties of a college.'

Both create policies, standards and codes of ethics that stipulate how members should behave with patients, other healthcare practitioners and on social media. None of these allow for activities that are deemed to be discriminatory, harmful, or prejudiced.
Colleges and associations will have a complaints process where ANYONE can submit a complaint about a member if they think their behaviour is inappropriate or harmful. The process protects the reporter's identity, and will typically involve completing a form that you can find on the organizations website.
In some cases, other healthcare practitioners are REQUIRED TO REPORT or they could be subject to disciplinary action related to professional misconduct.
