'Winifred Cavendish Bentinck, Duchess of Portland' - there are a few lovely paintings of her on the internet if you look up her name. But this one is just magnificent, Sargent says so much with so little detail and our brains fill in all the gaps!

Joaquin Sorolla - another favourite. He was absolutely masterful at painting light and I got to see an exhibition of his in London a few years ago. This is one of the ones that made me cry. It was HUGE, and it was just so incredible.
